Senior Embedded Systems Engineer

You will own the architecture and implementation of our secure flight controller and RF integration stack.
About the Role
Lead the design and delivery of NDAA-compliant flight controller firmware, hardware bring-up, and RF subsystem integration. You will work directly with the Chief Scientist and own critical avionics modules from architecture through production validation.
Responsibilities
- ▸Architect and implement secure flight controller firmware and drivers
- ▸Integrate RF subsystems with avionics stack and validate in lab environments
- ▸Document designs, test plans, and compliance artifacts for audit readiness
- ▸Collaborate with manufacturing and compliance teams on production release
Requirements
- ▸8+ years embedded systems experience in C/C++ and RTOS environments
- ▸Strong hardware/software integration skills (ARM MCUs, FPGA interfaces, sensor buses)
- ▸Experience with secure boot, firmware signing, or defense-grade software practices
- ▸Comfortable owning modules end-to-end in a fast-moving startup
